Coachella 2018 - Queen Beyonce and our festival style line up weekend 1

Californian candy skies blanketed the fields of Coachella 2018 for week one where the deadly lineup saw festival swooners basking in the glory.  Headlining- The Weeknd, Eminem and of course the queen herself cast their spell across the fields on the weekends most desirable place on earth. There was memorable celebrity style spotting and those glimpses of that impeccably dressed festival love child we all wait to see. 

Queen Beyonce lead the way for a glittery theme in festival styling with her Egytian inspired Balmain cape and bodysuit  - BEYOND AMAZING. It was as if she set the tone for Coachella weekend one - a glistening sea of embellishment in the dreamy Indio backdrop.

For the ones that drew the lucky straw to be there revelling amongst the magic and for the ones that await the style reports and Insta leaks for that annual dose of festival style goodness - we’ve been transported into the Coachella haze. 

Pushing the limits of the usual paisley prints and fringed accessories that have become engrained in the word festival itself, it was no surprise to see Coachella goers laden with this seasons latest trends. 

Festival styling entered a new realm with hints of plaid, cargo styling, sequins and heavy glitter accents. We loved the layering of belts and the excessive approach to neck and wrist pieces paired back with the mix of soft translucent fabrics and harder touches of leather. We also appreciated the new approach to denim dressing because lets face it - a festival without that quintessential denim piece, NO. 

Embellished ensembles, luxe, rich animal and floral prints, contrast of deep earthy tones. The babes donning white in lace, mesh, leather and crochet, eclectic accessorizing and regal touches, and one of our true crushes THOSE STATEMENT BOOTS!
