We are so excited to be stocking these amazing artworks in our new Burleigh Heads Store!  We feel we are a perfect match made in heaven, and here is why we love Karina's art.

 

 

 

Based in Sydney, Karina has drawn for as long as she can remember with her first works being sold at the markets at Sydney's Bondi Markets when she was 17.  Karina spent her Saturdays week after week at the markets with no job, no qualifications and fresh out of high school. 

 

"I still remember the feeling I felt when I sold my largest canvas on my first day."

  

After graduating university with a Bachelor's degree in Design majoring in Textile and Graphic Design under her belt, Karina has delved into her art with a unique approach combining her artistic and graphic skills.

 

 

 

Karina has worked with some amazing iconic brands such as Mambo, Westpac, Tigerlily, Nakula Coconut Products, Kawaiian Lion & most recently, The Jungalow (amazing!)

Now Karina has decided to follow her roots and set sail on a journey of drawing and selling her illustrations.

 

"All of my artworks are hand-drawn with Copic markers. 

I would describe them as colourful, full of rich tones and intricate patterns."

Copic markers are high quality, double-ended, refillable markers that are used by many professional artists for uses, including cartoon illustration, fashion design, and anime and manga drawing. They can also be used by the novelty artists for hobbies like scrapbooking and colouring stamps for arts and crafts.

Karina's Illustrations are Giclee printed on 100% textured cotton rag, 310gsm museum grade fine art paper (OBA - FREE with no optical brighteners). They are printed in Australia using the highest quality materials and are made to order to prevent waste.
