SPELL STYLE UPS

  We are so excited to have Bryony (@bryony_wildfire) as a new part of The Freedom State family, and she popped in store to try on the new Spell 'Rosa' collection and take a few Spell Style Up snaps for you Spell Designs lovers out there! Here we wanted to create some wearable looks for the cooler months, as well as team the collection with other styles in store to give you guys some ideas on how you could wear it.  From casual daywear, to lunch dates and parties, the 'Rosa' collection has us covered!  

Coffee Dates - Casual and Relaxed

Firstly - how good is the Delirium Print?  Spell have turned a leopard print into a floral and the style of the Maxi Skirt is so flattering!  We have created a super easy outfit for a cool morning that may turn out a little warmer than expected.  Bryony wears the Mate 'Just here for the Music' tank (hello Splendour goers!) with our own 'Chicko Boots' in black. To finish off the look, as Bryony LOVES a hat; the old fave 'Fiddler Cap' in Black.  Bryony also wears the Amuse Society 'Braxton Sweater' around her waist (they have some rad knits in at the moment) where the colours match to perfection.

Local Lunching

The girls are getting together for a casual and relaxed lunch, and we have fallen in love with another skirt in the Rosa Collection, the 'Rosa Wrap Skirt' in Blush. We have teamed this little number with the Amuse Society 'Cloudscape Top' which we have simply knotted and wah-lah!  Cute to boot.  Add our 'Chicko Boots' in Tan suede and the colours match the skirt beautifully!  We love the Chicko Boots because you can wear them with literally EVERYTHING!  We have finished the look with a head scarf and 'Dilly Bag' in light cream and a few silver jewels.

Garden Soirees

When you have been invited to something a little more fancy, say for example, a garden party or afternoon tea, and you want to look a little more dressed up for daywear, these pieces are your go-to's. We feel the print on the 'Delirium Maxi' dress is to die for, however this time of year can get cool so we have teamed this with the magical 'Rhiannon Lace Kimono' by Free People.  We cinched the waist for shape with our very own 'Rodeo Belt' as the colours are meant to be together, and our matching 'Livingston Sandals' in light tan.  A touch of Temple of the Sun jewellery finished the look with the 'Joanna Straw Hat' (on sale!) by Brixton.  The sleeves on that Kimono... sigh.

Oh-so french!  Do you own the 'Imperial Blouse' by Spell?  How stunning is it under the 'Doe Eyed Midi Dress'?  Team it with our very own 'Chloe Bag', and 'Chicko Boots' in Tan Suede.  Again we have a hint of Temple of the Sun Jewellery and 'Joanna Hat' by Brixton.

Daywear

Lazy Sundays spent strolling the shopping strips stopping at cafes for shopping breaks, or bbq's in the park with friends, the 'Delirium Jumpsuit' is perfect for these outings and can be transformed into a cute trans-seasonal outfit by simply adding a shirt or knit over the top.  We knotted the Free People 'Talk To Me' button up shirt over the top and added the 'Rodeo Belt' in tan for a little bit of shape at the waist.  The new 'Strappy Slides' by us are in stock now and are so comfy to wear!

Weddings, Parties, Everything!

Not sure what the weather may hold? When in doubt, layer up.  Why not make your own look with the 'Rosa Wrap Blouse' over the 'Rosa Sundress'? This has been our own favourite Spell style up with many customers asking about the 'gown' we are wearing! The Sundress has a split for a hint of skin and we love how the Blouse offers a warmer alternative to having to wear a jacket or kimono for those dressier occasions. We have dressed this look with the 'Straw Audrey Beret' by Brixton and the 'Wayward Clutch' by Amuse Society.  We still can't go past the 'Chicko Boots' in Black!

Lastly, we are just in awe of how gorgeous the 'Garden Party Dress' is for special events.  Simple and elegant, there must be bride out there who would love this dress for her bridesmaids; we cannot wait to see!  We have simply styled this with our own Olive Suede 'Chicko Boots' as we just couldn't go past the colour combo!
