'Go West' Vogue Paris | Children of the Tribe - Byron Bay
A came across a shoot by photographer ANDREAS SJÖDIN for Vogue Paris (enfants), and I was in love with the look and feel of the shoot! I am always on the search for clothing for my own kids that have cool prints and embellishments that aren't tacky.
And when you dissect the outfits styled by the experts in Vogue, the clothes are still just wearable, easy pieces for the kids, but there is always at least one element of cool- a ruffle here, or embroidery there, or an amazing print.
I recently had a call from Byron Bay Photographer David Hauserman letting me know of some shoots he recently did with some of our amazing local talent in Byron Bay, including Children of the Tribe. And when I see our own Australian labels creating pieces that fill my desires, I am all over it, and it's right here on our doorstep!
Children of the Tribe shot their look-book in Terri Cronin's Byron studio, where she creates her own amazing pieces for her label 'Buffalo Girl'. What an inspiring location as a back drop for the shoot! I'm about to go shopping, meanwhile, check it all out below.
